Supernatural Convention

October 11-13, 2013

Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Here’s my story… I decided to join my friend Dawn, back in April, to the Supernatural Convention in Toronto after she told me that she had booked it with her friend Sara. We were eating at the restaurant and totally thought it would be cool to attend my first ever convention, even thought I had never watched one episode of the show in my life, but at least I knew OF the two major stars as Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. I felt a little bad that I decided to crash Dawn and Sara’s trip by inviting myself but they both didn’t mind it, which I was happy and grateful to them. That same night, we ended up going to her house and got to see my first 3 episodes of the show. I was hooked after that. She let me borrow her season 1 to bring back home and watch the show. It didn’t take too long for me to order the rest of the season and get to my goal to watch the whole series before the day of the convention.

New Resolulation - Losing weight with friends....
Thanks to my friends in one of my Nikki Sixx group, we decided to blog about our weight loss.  Like them, I will start blogging about my eating habits and also my ups and downs of my lifestyle change...  new year, new goals right ?  Well, here we are, i'm starting by showing my true colors:

weight (as my weigh in at Weight Watchers on Dec 30, 2011: 264.1 lbs (119 kg)
bust: 48 inches (121 cm)
waist: 43.5 inches (110 cm)
hips: 53 inches (134 cm)

Here we go, I did it.  A lot of people will not post their information because of being ashamed of them.  I'm not ashamed.  I know i'm fat, so that's the beginning, knowing and accepting how we are.  Now, working on losing that weight and those inches is the next step.

I follow the Weight Watchers point system and it does work for me.  In a year and a half, I lost 65 lbs, so I know it works, but sometimes, I lose that drive and I have stall on the same weight for a good 6 months with no good reason other than I was bored with my food.  But here is my usual morning breakfast.  Because the fruits and most of the vegetable are free in the WW program, I try to eat as much as I can.

Breakfast:  1/2 glass of orange juice, 1/2 glass of milk for my 3/4 cups of cereals (I eat the chocolate cheerios).  With that I eat a kiwi.

I bring as many fruits as I can for snacks with a Fibre One bar, a cup of cottage cheese and jam, a baby babybel cheese and some cherry tomatoes.  My lunches and dinner will differ.  For the next 10 days, i'm visiting my mom in Montreal so she will be cooking for me (YAY) and she does pay attention to what I eat.  Today she made chicken breast, with vegetable and brown rice.  Filling your plate with a lot of vegetable will help you because your plate will not look as empty when you look at it because of the small portion of chicken and small portion of rice.  Portion control is the main problem / solution for weight loss...    You can eat everything you want but as long as you control the quantity....

Good luck to all !!!!!
